feminist peace academy
our training programs comprise a mix of custom-designed programs and certification programs affiliated to other organizations.
at civitatem, our training programs are highly engaging, reflective, and enriching. we prioritize peer learning rather than top-down learning, and experiential and learning by doing rather than remembering facts.
our offering
we provide certificate courses and bespoke training offerings in the areas of our work, namely feminist foreign policy; peace mediation and negotiation; women, peace and security; and decolonial justice. our courses draw on the resources curated and created on the gender security project and are informed by a decolonial, intersectional, feminist lens.
